Treasure Hunts 7-16-11

Led Treasure Hunts at Bethel. During the training/activation.. one of the Treasure Hunters that showed up (Florence) had a "clogged" ear, and volunteered to be used in my demonstration of how we would minister to the sick in the community. Her ear completely opened up instantly... Yay Jesus!!

When we went out, I had two guys with me, Simon from Germany, and Jeffrey who had just moved to Redding. We had a half dozen or so encounters and here are the testimonies.. Exact words of knowledge from our treasure map are in quotes and bold:

“Umbrellas” “red and white umbrellas” –we went to In-n-Out. We were standing outside my car reviewing each other's clues and the girl in the "parking space" 2 away from ours asked us if we were doing a Scavenger Hunt or something. She also had a "purple shirt." We explained the Treasure Hunt to her and her boyfriend and prayed a quick general blessing over them.

Then we walked right up to a group under one of the "red and white umbrellas." Met Pam with “red shirt” and a “metal watch” with “leg pain” (sciatica). It wasn’t hurting right then; but we prayed it wouldn’t come back. Also, her friend “Lori” was at the table, and prayed quick blessing over her.

At “WalMart,” saw a lady with a “purple shirt” and “black jeans” and she was VERY receptive (she was also a Believer) and let us blast her prophetically about this next phase of her life and God’s good plans for her, etc..

Saw a woman named Percy walk buy with her arm in a cast and sling. Asked her about it and she had just had surgery for tendonitis. She got it from being a deputy sheriff and working with the coroner so much moving bodies, etc.. Prayed for a quick recovery.

Went to the “laundry powder (soap)” aisle. Met a woman with a “red shirt” named Annie, and her grandson Zechariah with a “purple shirt” with “anime” on the back. She told us she had “fibromyalgia,” with current pain at level 5. She was crying at the number of clues, and how obvious it was that God had sent us to her. Took her hand and didn’t pray a word. Waited about a minute and all the pain was gone! She was really happy, also a Believer, and really thankful to God. Encouraged her briefly about how to take authority over any future attacks, etc. Then prophesied briefly to Zechariah about the call of God on his life. Annie (grandmother) confirmed that he has unusual dreams, etc. We asked him to tell us the most memorable recent one. He told us, and we interpreted it in simple terms. It was about an evangelistic call on his life, etc.. really great dream. They were both so happy and had a great encounter.

One guy on the team had “peaches” so we went to the produce section and there was an older lady picking out peaches. The other guy on our team had “watermelon” on his list and she had one in her cart already. Prayed for her and encouraged her briefly.

Met a lady with a “purple shirt” with a boy who had on a “green T-shirt with cartoon character on it.” Also his two sisters and mom were there. His mom, Lisa, was very excited and asking for prayer for patience with her kids and peace in the home, etc. She was crying she was so happy and getting good and whacked. Prayed for Angie, the friend with the “Purple shirt.” She said it was so weird meeting us because she had just had a conversation about God using people, mysterious divine appointments and that kind of stuff while she had been driving to Redding today! Prophesied over her about God using her in divine appointments and as a person God would use and flow through powerfully. Then we found out that the boy with the “green T-shirt with cartoon character on it” (Lisa’s son) has frequent severe headaches. He currently had one at level 7.5 out of 10. Prayed and he said it instantly went to a 5 as soon as we took his hand. Prayed for like 10 seconds and every last bit of the pain left. He was smiling from ear to ear, his mom was crying, everybody was so happy—It was awesome!

Thank You, Jesus for all You did today to love people and set them free!!
